Green Reporters’ 6th online seminar – February 20th, 2023.
‘People have the power’ has been the topic of the 6th online seminar of the ‘Green Reporters’ project on February 23rd, 2023. We have discussed the role and responsibility of citizens in environmental questions. What people can do directly? How can we act within our local context? Presentations by:

-Mr. Giulia Apolloni, representing ‘Legambiente’ (Italy)

Legambiente is an Italian non-profit organization founded in 1980. It’s the most prominent and widespread environmental association in Italy with two headquarters in Rome and Milan, 20 regional coordination offices and more than 600 local groups of volunteers. Its key mission: Scientific environmentalism to build policies and to advocate change towards local, national and international stakeholders and institutions.

Nikos Chrysogelos is a Chemist and environmentalist. Co-founder of the Greek green movement, and some environmental organisations & initiatives. Former Green Member of the European Parliament, organiser of a number of conferences and events on eco-innovation, green economy, social economy, industrial symbiosis, RES cooperatives, etc.
